Square Enix have announced a new 25th Anniversary set for the Final Fantasy series, rightfully named the ?Final Fantasy 25th Anniversary Ultimate Box?, which is set for release in December. What makes this collection so special? Alongside the inclusion of every game in the series between I and XIII (Not including spin-off or ?-2? installments) , it will including a collection of Crystal ArtWorks art, a compilation of music, 25th anniversary video disc, a visual with stand and an item code for a special item in Final Fantasy XIV.
The games included in this release (and platform) include:
- Final Fantasy I (Playstation)
- Final Fantasy II (Playstation)
- Final Fantasy III (Playstation Portable)
- Final Fantasy IV (Playstation)
- Final Fantasy V (Playstation)
- Final Fantasy VI (Playstation)
- Final Fantasy VII International (Playstation)
- Final Fantasy VIII (Playstation)
- Final Fantasy IX (Playstation)
- Final Fantasy X (Playstation 2)
- Final Fantasy XI Vana Del Collection (Playstation 2)
- Final Fantasy XII (Playstation 2)
- Final Fantasy XIII (Playstation 3)
The current price for the set is?35,000 yen for release on the 18th December 2012. There is no word on if an international release will be made of a collection I am sure fans of the series will?definitely?be after. It can be purchased through the Square Enix e-Store HERE?and is currently exclusive to this store.
