There we have it. Sports games fans all over the world will probably be indifferent to the following news, but either way we must report. ?As we knew EA Sports had changed the original release date for their next basketball game. Well now EA Sports have officially cancelled NBA Live 13 after a roller-coaster process, which, as we now know, led to nothing.
The news was posted on the official EA Sports websites, in an explanatory letter from the Executive Vice President for EA Sports, Andrew Wilson. Wilson went on to explain that the game wasn?t up to good standards even after a lot was done to make this a great game, ?We started by moving the game to a new studio. We brought in some of the best new technology that has helped fuel innovation in our other games. We launched an even deeper level of engagement with our community to gather more feedback directly from fans. And we built a whole new development team to bring it all to life?
What happened EA? How could you let things get this bad, to the point where you have to cancel a game? Again!!! After the bust that was NBA Elite 11, one could expect a triumphant comeback from the big boys of sports gaming. Will we ever see another NBA game to come out of EA Sports studios? One can only wonder how horrific the game was.
Guess we?ll be playing 2k this year again.
