Location: Birmingham Salary/Rate:??125 per day Job Type:? Full Time In the role as HR Advisor you will work as part of a well-respected Financial services business to join a small business partnering team a wider global HR team. Building strong working relationships with line managers to empower them to deliver the groups HR Business Strategy.This is an operational role that requires knowledge and practical experience of the entire employee cycle.The organisation is faced paced and highly commercial, the local HR function is undergoing a level of culture change to ensure that it proactively supports a rapidly growing business. A positive, tenacious and solution orientated approach is therefore essential.Key Requirements:Will support Business Partners in advising the business clients and employees in the following areas: ?Day-to-day coverage of specific UK based client groups ?Coaching line managers to improve their line management and people skills?Supporting line managers on all aspects of the performance management lifecycle, up to and including disciplinary?Investigation of conduct, performance and grievance issues?Supporting grievance hearings?Supporting managers to manage flexible working applications?Restructuring / Group and Individual Consultation/redeployment including TUPE transfer?Maintaining and monitoring operational MI & headcount figures to proactively business partner with clients?Resolving escalations from HR Direct and from the Central Service Teams?Coaching line managers to increase their line manager capability and people skills?Support international secondments and transfers with the assistance of the HR International team?Supporting managers to support Leave of Absences (LOA), managing medical/sick leave, re-integrations after LOA?Co-ordinate and perform Exit Interviews providing feedback as appropriate (for selected group of employees)?Support and facilitate line manager training programmes e.g. Practicalities of Management etc.?Supporting Regional HR Initiatives e.g. Diversity, Talent Reviews, year-end compensation, promotion panel process etc.?Participation in HR ProjectsABOUT HARVEY NASH HRHarvey Nash's Human Resources Division specialises in the recruitment and development of HR professionals.We set up Harvey Nash HR with one simple vision in mind - to create a specialist HR division that has the passion and razor-sharp focus of a boutique, whilst at the same time provide our clients and candidates with the unique market insight, resources and international contacts of one of the most respected brands in recruitment.We are part of Harvey Nash , a global professional recruitment consultancy and IT outsourcing service provider, and trusted advisor to some of the world's leading businesses, governments and institutions.
