Saratoga Data Systems, Inc. announced the issuance of two U.S. patents numbers 8,310,920, Method and System for Accelerating Transmission of Data Between Network Devices and 8,312,356, Systems, Methods and Computer Products Including Features of Coding and/or Recovering Data relating to a new Internet Protocol which accelerates long distance data transmissions, in some cases by more than 100x. Flume has been proved in exhaustive testing by the Department of Defense and in field use by a wide range of customers in the financial services, engineering and defense sectors.

The Flume protocol enables users to send data over challenged networks networks with very high latency, data corruption and loss and transmission failure. Of these networks, terrestrial Wide Area Networks (WANS) are the most commonly encountered, but Flumes benefits have also been proved consistently on Satellite connections, IP over radio and mesh architectures. As an application, Flume runs on commodity PC hardware.

Greg Fairbank, CEO and President of Saratoga Data noted that Flume is our flagship product and has proven to accelerate data movement over some of the most challenged networking conditions in the world. This patent is a recognition of Saratogas research and development to push forward the boundaries of networking technology. Perhaps what is most exciting is that this patent issuance is just the beginning for Saratogas patent portfolio. Im tremendously excited about our current patent pipeline.

Computer programmers get hangover but computers don't. But the point here is it scales very, very well and if you are ? We own the data and we scale out across the network. The other thing that, this investment in digital has enabled ? And I am ?
