Western Stars retained the Central County Cup after winning by 4 wickets over Devonshire Recreation Club, and Southampton Rangers are the Western County Cup Champions after winning by 145 runs over Willow Cuts this weekend.

Western Stars Win by 4 Wickets: Devonshire Recreation Club 141 Western Stars 147/6

At the Devonshire Rec, the champions Western Stars won the toss and elected to send the Devonshire Recreation Club to bat. The Devonshire Recreation Club were bowled all out for 141, Ajai Daniels was the top scorer with 43, while Dion Ball added 12. Iejah Caines was the pick of the Western Stars bowlers with figures of 7-1-17-2, while Clay Darrell bowled 9-1-25-2.

In reply Temiko Wilson scored 59 not out was Western Stars scored 147/6 winning by 4 wickets. Ryan Tyrell added 27 and Darrell scored 23. Devonshire recreation Club captain Steven Breamar had figures of 3.2-2-6-2, while Keishon Smith returned bowling figures of 5-0-36-2.

Southampton Rangers Win by 148 Runs: Southampton Rangers 302/5 Willow Cuts 154

At the White Hill Field, Willow Cuts won the toss and sent the Southampton Rangers to bat, Southampton Rangers skipper Dion Stovell made them pay for the decision as he scored 151 not out in their total of 302/5 in their allotted overs. Stovell hit 18 fours and 5 sixes in his stay at the crease, while Kwame Tucker added 51 not out, Tucker hit 4 sixes and 3 fours in his inning. Deunte Darrell was the pick of the Willow Cuts bowlers returning figures of 10-1-73-2.

In reply Willow Cuts were bowled all out for 154, Sheroy Fubler was the top scorer with 43, while Darrell added 29, Dwayne Leverock was the pick of the Southampton Rangers bowlers returning figures of 8-0-37-4 and Janeiro Tucker bowled 6-0-21-3.
