Perks Entertainment Centre, Youghal and staff were honoured to host the ladies of the Animation Team of the Titanic in Cobh who promote all of East Cork voluntarily in their beautiful period 1912 handmade costumes.
These ladies operate on a voluntary basis which is a tremendous boost to East Cork having people so willing and interested in the tourist industry go forward and promote it like this on a voluntary basis.
Once again we at Perks were extremely proud to have these ladies visit us and ride our Carousel. We would like to congratulate them on the fabulous work they are doing.
The Animation Team, was formed during Titanic week in Cobh in April, and have continued to meet and greet every liner and also attend festivals and events all over the country to promote the harbour town and its connection to the ill fated ship. They go to hospitals, care homes, shopping centres and theatres all by invite from those who wish to have their bit of Titanic experience brought to them.
The ladies of the Cobh Animation Team, led by Claire Cullinane, dress in fabulous Victorian, Georgian, and Edwardian dresses and outfits and you?d be forgiven for feeling transported back to a bygone age.
